| CAREL USA was founded in January 1990 as DGH Systems. DGH merged with CAREL SpA in 2000 and became CAREL USA.
CAREL SpA, founded in 1973, has a 30 year history in the production of humidifiers and microprocessor controllers for HVAC/R applications.
The company’s headquarters is located in the Italian industrial heartland of Brugine(Padova). The CAREL Group employs more than 550 people worldwide.
In the last four years, CAREL has expanded and is currently divided into the following business units: controllers for air-conditioning, controllers for refrigeration, humidification systems and monitoring and remote management systems. Each unit has its own staff of technical and commercial specialists.
CAREL markets its products to manufacturers(OEM), installers and designers working in the HVAC/R market.
